Founder & Managing Lawyer
Brendan has studied in 3 continents – beginning in Canada with his B.A. (Political Science and English) from Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. He next relocated to Queensland, Australia where he received his Juris Doctor from Bond University, during which he also studied International Law in Oslo, Norway. Brendan has now settled in Whitby, Ontario, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016.
Before discovering his passion in Family Law, Brendan honed his interpersonal and problem-solving skills while working in corporate sales/marketing with many of North America’s leading businesses. Recognizing that his favourite aspects of this work were the opportunities to assist and improve the lives of individuals, Brendan followed his passion towards law and knew that he could provide the most assistance to others in the field of Family Law.
Prior to working in Durham Region, Brendan articled and clerked in Burlington, Ontario and handled litigation matters for a major Canadian bank. Beyond litigation, Brendan has also worked in Real Estate Law.
Brendan acknowledges that family matters are emotionally complex for his clients, and thus uses his vast wealth of legal knowledge and relational skills to provide an exceptional service while ensuring clients feel as comfortable as possible. Brendan has worked for two of Durham Regions well-known Family Law firms and he took the knowledge he gained to create and provide a legal service with what he feels each client truly needs.
Driven by providing an exemplary legal service, based on value and attention to detail, adjusting to each individual client, Brendan will always put the needs of his clients first. Brendan devotes a strong focus to negotiating and resolving Family Law matters in a timely manner to avoid lengthy and expensive litigation. Having stated such, Brendan does not shy away from the Courtroom and ensures that the position of his client is organized and advanced with confidence and dignity to ensure fair and reasonable results.
In what time he has left outside of our office, Brendan focuses on family time and staying active in different sports and other outdoor activities.

Brendan has worked with his team of Amanda (Paralegal and Law Clerk) and Nichole (Office Manager and Law Clerk) for multiple years. They have worked diligently to hone their skills and services for all clients in order to truly provide each client with everything they need to assist in
